HOW IT ALL BEGAN

In 2006, Josef “Seppo” Sixt founds Lindnerhof, driven by a desire to improve the performance of his gear and make special forces operators faster, more efficient, and more effective in combat. The journey starts with Seppo’s determination to tackle challenges and refine existing equipment, conducting early stages of development and production at his kitchen table. The first creations, including a chest rig and various magazine pouches, take shape in his home and are stored in the basement.

2007 / 2008

FIRST LINE PRODUCTION

Linderhof’s first series production, featuring plate carriers, chest harnesses, and magazine pouches, is manufactured at Tactical Tailor (USA) before transitioning to Goldeck Austria (Austria).

2009

RELOCATION OF BUSINESS PREMISES

Growing demand for Lindnerhof products prompts a relocation to larger premises, accommodating expanded technical equipment and the addition of the first three employees. The existing diverse product portfolio is further expanded with the introduction of the new items, including tactical belts.

2010

TRANSITION TO A GMBH

To expand Lindnerhof’s operations and bring the products to international markets, as well as to facilitate continued company growth a GmbH , an internationally recognised corporate structure, is established.

2011

FIRST PATENT FOR LINDNERHOF

The Quick Release System LT025, a universal connector setup and plate carrier drop mechanism, is patented. Its purpose is to reduce downtime when dropping the plate carrier, as this is essential for the user’s safety during critical missions.

2014 / 2015

NEW HEADQUARTERS

Driven by continuous growth, larger premises are aquired. By December 2014, the new HQ, covering 1600m², accommodates 32 employees. Simultaneously, Lindnerhof’s role as a distributor for American brands Eberlestock and Mystery Ranch gains traction in the merchandise sector. Notably, government clients like the Bundeswehr, GSG9, and various Special Deployment Units (SDUs), contribute significantly to our expanding clientele.

2016

LAUNCH OF HQG WEBSHOP

As the company achieves an annual revenue surpassing ten million euros, the workforce expands to 40 employees, and a TÜV certificate for an abseiling system is acquired. At the same time, the groundwork for the successful establishment of the HQG web store is set.

2017

Becoming part of the Mehler Systems Group

Becoming part of a larger group within the same industry allows Lindnerhof to expand its product range and collaborate closely with other subsidiaries; UF PRO and Mehler Protection.
Additionally, Lindnerhof secures another patent for the “Hakenschnalle”.

2019

LARGE SCALE GROUP PROJECTS PROPEL UNPRECEDENTED GROWTH

Lindnerhof excels in large-scale corporate projects, particularly in government contracts, and solidifies its position as the official distributor for Salomon Forces in Germany. Simultaneously, the team expands to 55 members, prompting the need for additional expansion of the business premises and the implementation of a new ERP system.

2020

SECOND IN-HOUSE DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT

In addition to the existing textile development department, a second department aimed at advancing the development of non-textile accessories and complex gear solutions is established.

2022

INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION

Lindnerhof is actively pursuing global expansion, driven by a team of 57 employees and a new warehouse situated in the former premises of the local Bundeswehr Barracks. With expansion efforts in full swing, Lindnerhof strategically attracted attention across key social media platforms, significantly enhancing brand awareness.
